Addy is an unincorporated community in Stevens County, Washington, United States. Fatzer in 1893.〔Colville Republican newspaper 4 February 1893 Pg 2〕 In 1975, Alcoa built a magnesium smelter (Historylink.org Stevens County Article ), which became the largest employer in the county. The town has one gas station, and a coffee shop. There is one restaurant in town, although several other businesses cater to the primarily agricultural local economy. Addy is assigned the ZIP code 99101. ==Climate== This climatic region is typified by large seasonal temperature differences, with warm to hot (and often humid) summers and cold (sometimes severely cold) winters.
